My Work Experience:
I have been in a designer for nearly five years. My first client project was for the City of North Myrtle Beach, of whom I was employed at the time. It was to create a logo for the lifeguards. After hearing that my design had been voted as the winner, I was hooked. I then went on to intern with a small local advertising agency called AdVenture Ads. This was a great way for me to learn what to expect from clients in the field. After I received my degree, I took on a full-time position as a Marketing Graphic Designer at a scoreboard manufacturer. Here I had the freedom to develop my skills and figure our problems on my own. Three years of personal growth, I took my next big step in my career. I moved to Charleston, SC to take on an internship with Charleston Magazine. This has been the most rewarding move of my career thus far. I cant wait to see where I will be next.

My Background:
I received my Bachelors of Art from Coastal Carolina University in May of 2010, with a concentration in Graphic Design. During school, I held an average of 3.5 GPA while working at least one job, sometimes two or three in the summer. I have been designing and creating my whole life. I have always loved the magazine industry even when I was just a child I laid out and printed my own magazines for fun. I am also an avid runner and love the outdoors. When I'm not designing, you can probably find me on a trail, at the beach or at the gym. I am always finding new ways to push myself, and achieve higher goals.
